The Gildan 2000 Ultra Cotton is the 205 g/m² 100% American cotton t-shirt — the next step up from Heavy Cotton in the Gildan range. The higher weight delivers greater dimensional stability through washing, a more compact print surface and a softer hand feel thanks to Soft Cotton technology. The fundamental advantage for decoration is the complete absence of polyester: discharge printing works correctly on all suitable colours, DTG has no dye migration risk and requires standard curing temperatures without restriction. With 51 EU colours the palette covers institutional, sports and promotional needs. Part of the Gildan family — also available in women's, youth, pocket and long sleeve versions. only.

White underbase required on Black, Navy, Forest Green, Maroon, Cardinal Red, Indigo Blue, Military Green, Blue Dusk. Superior results vs Heavy Cotton thanks to higher weight and complete absence of polyester.
100% US cotton: excellent DTG results with no dye migration risk at high temperatures. Standard pre-treatment for dark colours. Ash Grey (99/1): identical behaviour to 100% cotton. Heather Cardinal and Heather Navy: verify composition before production. Soft Cotton texture favours ink absorption.
