- How faithful is the mockup to the real patch?
- The rendering simulates the satin of the threads, the stitch direction, the twill backing and the merrow border at real scale. Colours depend on the threads the workshop stocks: ask for the thread chart before ordering.
- What is the minimum size of a patch?
- Below 20 mm the merrow border eats almost all the space and the logo details cannot be stitched. For a logo with text we recommend at least 60–70 mm in width.
- Visible twill or fully embroidered?
- With visible twill the backing stays fabric and shows where there is no logo: it costs less and is the most common choice. With full coverage the backing is stitched thread on thread: the patch is stiffer and heavier, and the price rises with the stitch count.
- Can I use the PNG to ask for a quote?
- Yes: the downloaded PNG has a transparent background and states shape and size. Send it together with the original logo file, which is what the workshop uses for digitising.
