The EU palette has 51 confirmed colours — from institutional classics (Navy, Black, Red, Royal) to vivid shades (Safety Green, Heliconia, Daisy, Azalea) through to antique tones (Antique Jade Dome, Antique Sapphire, Antique Irish Green, Antique Cherry Red) and the distinctive Mint Green. Volume pricing is its primary strength — the Gildan 5000 is the global reference choice for orders from 100 pieces upward where unit cost is decisive. The limitations are equally clear: no eco certification beyond OEKO-TEX, predominantly US-grown cotton with a non-Fair-Wear-certified supply chain, and tubular construction requiring care when tensioning for DTG. Not the t-shirt for those wanting to communicate sustainability or premium quality.

Tubular construction without side seams guarantees a continuous surface ideal for screen printing: no discontinuities, easy platen tensioning. White underbase required on Black, Navy, Midnight, Forest Green, Maroon, Cardinal Red, Indigo Blue, Dark Chocolate. The 10% polyester requires max curing temperature 160°C to avoid dye migration on dark colours. The global reference t-shirt for high-volume screen printing. White (100% cotton) is ideal for discharge — other 90/10 colours are recommended but with less clean results.
Excellent adhesion on 90% ring-spun cotton. First choice for small-to-medium runs across all 51 colours. No dye migration risk. Tubular construction facilitates positioning. Ideal for Mint Green, Antique Jade Dome, Lilac, Sunset, Cornsilk and all pastel or antique colours where screen printing would require greater calibration.
