The Iconic 150 T by Fruit of the Loom is a slim fit t-shirt at 140 g/m² (White and Grey) and 150 g/m² (all other colours) in 100% combed ring-spun cotton: the combed ring-spun process produces a cleaner, more compact yarn than standard ring-spun, delivering a smoother hand feel and greater precision for high-definition prints. The fit is slim with a narrow 1x1 rib crew neck and self-fabric tape. With 31 colours it includes contemporary shades hard to find elsewhere such as Neo Mint, Cobalt Blue, Soft Lavender, Sage, Zinc and Flame. Composition varies by colour: the 7 vivid heather colours are 52% cotton / 48% polyester, Athletic Heather contains 10% — a communicable detail for those wanting a minimum of certified recycled content. only.

What to expect on this specific product, technique by technique.
Combed ring-spun cotton: more compact and uniform surface than standard ring-spun, delivering sharper and more detailed screen printing results. White underbase required on Black, Navy, Deep Navy, Forest Green, Burgundy, Royal Blue. On the heather 52/48 colours (Dark Heather Grey, Heather Navy, Heather Royal, etc.): max curing temperature 150°C to avoid dye migration. Athletic Heather (90/10 recycled polyester): behaviour similar to 52/48 — mandatory test. Slim fit requires attention to platen positioning.
The combed ring-spun surface is among the best for DTG at this weight: compact cotton with minimal residual lint. Pre-treatment required for dark colours. On heather 52/48 colours: pre-treatment does not guarantee uniformity, high dye migration risk — avoid or test first. Athletic Heather (10% recycled polyester): test before production. Heather Grey (97/3): behaviour almost identical to 100% cotton. Slim fit facilitates platen tensioning.
