Cotton fabric with a raised surface of parallel vertical ribs. Very on-trend retro/vintage aesthetic. Soft and warm to the touch.
Corduroy is a double-face fabric with a smooth inner side and a surface of cut-pile ribs. The ribs are measured in 'wale' (number of ribs per inch): the higher the number, the finer the rib. For caps, wide-wale corduroy is typically used (6–8 wale).
