The combination of unstructured front and ribbed fabric has a direct consequence for personalisation. On one hand the ribbed surface interrupts flat-contact printing techniques (, transfer, ), which struggle to lay the ink evenly across the grooves. On the other the soft front, lacking rigid support, makes front more delicate: a good stabiliser is needed to keep the stitches in shape. Embroidery nevertheless remains the technique of choice: it anchors into the ribbed weave with a consistent tactile effect, on the front (12×6 cm), the sides (10×6 cm), the back and the closure.

It is the technique of choice for this fabric: the stitches anchor into the ribbed corduroy weave with a tactile effect consistent with the surface. Full-front embroidery 12×6 cm starting 2 cm from the visor, on the sides 10×6 cm, on the back 8×3.5 cm and on the closure 6×1.2 cm. Since the front is unstructured and lacks buckram, a good stabilising backing is important to keep the stitches in shape on the soft panel.
Patches work well because they sit on top of the ribbed surface without having to follow its grooves. On the unstructured front, application by stitching is preferable, distributing tension over the soft panel better than heat-sealing. Suited to the front and sides, with embroidered, woven or rubber patches. A good alternative to embroidery for multicolour logos.
