We analyze it like an editorial team would. We don't sell it.

In the baseball cap segment, the Creep-S is the unstructured corduroy version: 100% recycled polyester, GRS-certified, with an unstructured front panel that, lacking buckram reinforcement, gives a soft, relaxed, slouchy fit. It is the lightest of the corduroy line (68 grams), with a mid visor and a ReTraze® recycled visor, metal buckle with metal hole and recycled polyester sweatband. Declared carbon footprint -19% CO2eq versus the category reference.

The combination of unstructured front and ribbed fabric has a direct consequence for personalisation. On one hand the ribbed surface interrupts flat-contact printing techniques (screen printing, transfer, sublimation), which struggle to lay the ink evenly across the grooves. On the other the soft front, lacking rigid support, makes front embroidery more delicate: a good stabiliser is needed to keep the stitches in shape. Embroidery nevertheless remains the technique of choice: it anchors into the ribbed weave with a consistent tactile effect, on the front (12×6 cm), the sides (10×6 cm), the back and the closure.

It is the right choice for those seeking a cap with a soft, light, relaxed look, to personalise with embroidery in six earth tones. It is not the right product for those who want a rigid, structured front that holds its shape, or who need to print flat multicolour artwork: on this fabric printing is not recommended, and for complex logos a smooth-twill model is preferable.

Embroidery· Eccellente
84%
It is the technique of choice for this fabric: the stitches anchor into the ribbed corduroy weave with a tactile effect consistent with the surface. Full-front embroidery 12×6 cm starting 2 cm from the visor, on the sides 10×6 cm, on the back 8×3.5 cm and on the closure 6×1.2 cm. Since the front is unstructured and lacks buckram, a good stabilising backing is important to keep the stitches in shape on the soft panel.

02
Patch — Woven / PVC / Faux leather· Molto buono
78%
Patches work well because they sit on top of the ribbed surface without having to follow its grooves. On the unstructured front, application by stitching is preferable, distributing tension over the soft panel better than heat-sealing. Suited to the front and sides, with embroidered, woven or rubber patches. A good alternative to embroidery for multicolour logos.
03
DTF — Direct to Film· Limitato
42%
Read the technical analysis
DTF transfer is not recommended on corduroy: the film struggles to adhere evenly over the raised wales, and on the soft unstructured front the risk of detachment along the grooves increases with panel flexing. For this fabric embroidery is the correct choice for durability and aesthetic result.
Max area 8x5
04
Screen printing· Limitato
40%
Read the technical analysis
The ribbed corduroy surface is not recommended for screen printing, and the unstructured front worsens the result: without rigid support the panel yields under the frame's pressure, the ink deposits unevenly across the grooves and the result is not crisp. For this fabric embroidery or patches are clearly preferable.
Max area 10x6Max colors 2
05
Sublimation· Limitato
38%
Read the technical analysis
The polyester fibre takes sublimation in theory, but the ribbed corduroy texture compromises the result, with an uneven effect between crests and grooves. Moreover most available colours are dark (Black, Navy, Dark Grey, Burgundy, Olive) and on dark grounds sublimation does not work. A technique poorly suited to this model.
Max area 8x5
06
DTG — Direct to Garment· Non compatibile
0%
Read the technical analysis
DTG direct printing is not compatible: it is optimised for cotton, gives poor results on polyester and cannot apply evenly over the corduroy's raised ribbed surface, let alone on a soft, unstructured front. To personalise this model use embroidery, the technique of choice for corduroy, or applied patches.
