The underbill colour has a functional origin: neutral grey and dark green (typical of professional baseball caps) reduce light reflection towards the wearer's eyes. On lifestyle and promotional models, a contrasting underbill is an aesthetic element. Some Atlantis models offer a customisable underbill.
