Definition

A tear-away label is a care/composition label sewn with a pre-designed break point: it pulls away cleanly without leaving marks, residue or visible holes. It facilitates rebranding the product with the end client's own label.

In the B2B promotional market, private labelling (the distributor applies their own label instead of the manufacturer's) is common practice. The tear-away label is the technical solution that enables this: the stitching is designed to give way easily under manual tension without damaging the underlying fabric. A woven label or heat-applied printed label with the client's branding is then applied in its place. Not all Atlantis models include this feature: it must be verified on individual product pages.
