Lining
inner lining
Inner fabric that covers the seams. Makes the inside of the cap more refined and comfortable.
Layer of fabric applied inside the crown. Aesthetic function (hides embroidery and buckram) and comfort function (reduces friction with hair).
Common materials: polyester satin (glossy look, cool to the touch), ultra-light tricot mesh. Not always present: basic caps don't have it. In winter or premium models, full lining significantly improves thermal insulation and comfort. The lining can also carry internal brand prints or patterns.
