The Ghibli's outer recycled-nylon side supports embroidery on all 4 positions: front and back up to 12×6 cm, sides up to 12×6 cm. The reversible structure requires care during processing: the embroidery hoop must be positioned on the outer nylon layer only to prevent the stitches from also crossing the inner fleece lining — an operation that would require temporarily separating the two layers. Moderate stitch density: excess coverage on the thin nylon can cause distortion. Embroidery not applicable on the fleece side.
The outer nylon side offers an acceptable surface for flat screen printing: 10×6 cm area on front, back and sides. Nylon requires dedicated inks for synthetic fabric to ensure wash fastness. Maximum 2 colours to ensure registration on the curved surface. Not applicable on the fleece side.
