The Authentic Classic is the benchmark t-shirt in the Russell Athletic catalogue: 180 g/m² (175g in white) in ring-spun fine-gauge cotton, tubular construction with shoulder-to-shoulder tape and a 1x1 rib collar with decorative stitch. Ring-spun cotton delivers a smoother, more compact surface than open-end yarn — a concrete advantage for DTG print quality and wearer comfort. The 22-colour palette is among the widest in the 175–180g segment. Light Oxford is a standalone variant: 93% cotton and 7% viscose, with a slightly different texture. No GOTS or Fair Wear: this is a volume tee with above-average perceived quality, but without communicable eco credentials.
