The Authentic Hooded Sweat ladies by Russell is the women's version of the 280 g/m² 3-layer fabric hoodie: 80% combed ring-spun cotton and 20% polyester internally, with a 100% cotton outer surface for optimal printability. The tailored feminine cut — unlike the straight cut of the men's version — offers a more refined fit. Certifications, fabric and construction are identical: double-lined hood, coverseamed finishes, earphone access, Tear Away label. The palette is however reduced to 10 colours compared to the men's 19, and sizes go up to 2XL. There are no eco certifications beyond , and the 20% polyester rules out discharge and .

100% cotton outer surface: excellent screen printing results, equivalent to the men's version. White underbase required on Black, French Navy, Bottle Green, Burgundy, Convoy Grey, Bright Royal. The feminine cut requires attention to platen positioning — use a women's/slim platen if available. The 20% internal polyester requires attention to curing temperature to avoid dye migration. Light Oxford (marl): test recommended. Max area approx. 30x35 cm (reduced vs. men's version due to the more fitted cut).
The 280g weight holds embroidery well. Ideal for corporate logos and text. The tailored feminine cut requires attention to positioning on chest and sleeve. Use reinforcement stabiliser. Avoid areas larger than 7x7 cm.
