The Ray-S combines three technical features on a single GRS rPET model: UPF 50+ (tested UV protection), PFC-free water resistance (a water-repellent treatment free of perfluorinated compounds) and a recycled dry-tech sweatband (active moisture management). The Bond-S (BONS) is the catalogue's other technical UPF 50+ model, but it goes for full waterproofing with heat-sealed seams and 3 colours. The Ray-S is the model for anyone wanting the technical protection in a lighter version — WR water repellency instead of waterproofing — with 6 colours and a more versatile aesthetic.
The recycled rubber hook-and-loop closure is the construction detail that sets the Ray-S apart from every other velcro model in the catalogue: it isn't a fabric strap — it's a recycled rubbery material offering a more defined grip and a more technical aesthetic, consistent with high-performance outdoor sports caps. The flat seam-free front panel (5 panels) guarantees the optimal print surface: 12×6 cm without interruptions, identical to the embroidery area. The sides (10×6 cm) are among the widest in the catalogue for a structured rPET 5-panel.
Six colours — white, dark grey, black, navy, red, royal — cover the most requested sporting and corporate palettes. Red and royal are absent from the Bond-S, making them a reason to choose for anyone with specific colour briefs. GRS certification (C2) covers the main components with a declared ISO 14067 CO2 figure.
