The thick ribs create a relief surface that requires a stiffer stabilising backing to guarantee correct tension during embroidery. Favour logos with solid lines and wide areas — the rib texture can reduce definition on very thin details. Not compatible with 3D puff embroidery. Note: the Oak's ribbed knit is denser than the Holly's and holds stitch density better.
Patches applicable via perimeter stitching on the front or cuff. The ribbed knit offers more hold than circular knit for the stitching point. Heat sealing is not recommended on the elastic knit. Maximum recommended size: 6×4 cm.
