In the technical and sustainable baseball cap segment, the Maui holds a distinctive position thanks to its material: textile-to-textile recycled polyester, regenerated from textile waste rather than PET bottles. It's a rarer and technically more complex recycling chain that recovers fiber from fiber while keeping GRS certification. At 54 grams it's one of the lightest models in the range.
The construction tells a precise function: 5 unstructured panels that follow the head, laser holes for ventilation, moisture-wicking fabric that pulls moisture away from the skin and a recycled dry-tech sweatband. It's a cap designed for movement and heat. This has a direct consequence on customization: the front is optimized for print — a dedicated 9×4 cm area for screen print, DTF or sublimation — while embroidery finds space on the sides up to 12×6 cm and on the back. Sublimation, possible thanks to the polyester, allows the photographic, unlimited-color result that cotton can't.
It's the right choice for sports events, outdoor activities, technical brands and anyone wanting to combine lightness, ventilation and a credible, distinctive sustainability story. It isn't the right product for those after a large structured front embroidery or a very wide palette: the colors are four muted shades and the front favors print.
