The double-layer circular knit in recycled polyester supports front, back and side embroidery up to 10×4 cm — dimensions calibrated for the smaller surface of the kids' crown. A tear-away stabiliser is recommended to prevent the knit from loosening during embroidery. Ballpoint needles (75/11) for knit fabrics. Moderate stitch density. The dual OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification means the dyes of the thread used for embroidery must meet the same safety standards as the base fabric — check that the embroidery threads have a compatible certification for kids' products. Not compatible with 3D puff embroidery.
Woven or eco-leather patches applicable via perimeter stitching on the front. For kids' products stitching is preferable to heat-sealing. Check that the patch materials are free of substances prohibited for products in contact with children's skin. Maximum recommended size: 4 cm.
It is the natural choice for youth sports teams, schools, associations and kids' brands after a children's with certified chemical safety and a wide colour choice. It is not the right product for those after a kids' beanie with a or for newborn sizes: the Kid Wind-S is a clean beanie with no extra decorations, designed for a 3-12 age target.
