In the Atlantis promotional baseball cap catalogue, the Iraya is the only one with a denim aesthetic. It is a recycled cotton jeans cap, with the diagonal weave and worn look typical of the fabric. The difference from any other denim lies in the dyeing: DyStar® Indigo technology reduces water, energy and chemical consumption compared to traditional denim dyes — a verifiable process figure, not a generic sustainability claim. The tone-on-tone stitching keeps the look clean and leaves all the room for personalisation.
The construction is 5-panel unstructured with a soft crown that adapts to the head without constricting. The denim front is a good surface both for embroidery — up to 12×6 cm, in flat version — and for front printing, also up to 12×6 cm. The organic cotton inner band adds comfort against the skin. As it is a dyed denim, on the darker pieces it is good practice to expect slight colour transfer on first use, as with any jeans.
It is the right choice for lifestyle brands, creators and merchandise with a casual, urban character, where the jeans aesthetic is part of the message. The three denim shades — from dark to light — cover a spectrum from the most sober to the lightest. It is not the right product for those after full or bright colours, nor for technical or sporting contexts: it is a declaredly lifestyle item.
