Unlike textured fabrics, here the is flat and even: this makes it suitable for printing as well as , and it is the model's real strength. and transfer work well on the smooth surface, on the front (12×6 cm), the sides and the back; embroidery anchors precisely into the cotton weave on the same areas. The presence of light colours like White, Khaki and Stone further widens the possibilities for colour printing. The soft unstructured crown, however, does not hold a rigid shape.

The cotton twill takes embroidery well, anchoring precisely into the weave. Full-front embroidery 12×6 cm starting 2 cm from the visor, on the sides 6×5 cm, on the back 8×3.5 cm and on the closure 6×1.2 cm. Since the front is unstructured and soft, a stabilising backing is advisable to keep the stitches in shape on the panel.
The flat cotton twill is ideal for screen printing: the smooth, even surface takes the ink crisply. Printing on the front 12×6 cm, the sides 6×5 cm and the back 6×4 cm. The availability of light colours (White, Khaki, Stone) allows excellent results even with several colours. A recommended technique for well-defined flat-colour logos and artwork.
