02 — Manifesto

We analyze it like an editorial team would. We don't sell it.

In the baseball cap segment, the Cruz is the only flat-visor snapback in cotton canvas of the selection: 5 panels, unstructured front, canvas in 80% organic cotton and 20% recycled cotton GRS certified, flat visor and snapback closure in recycled material. It's the natural, soft-hand alternative to recycled-polyester snapbacks, with the garment wash giving it a lived-in look.

The choice of unstructured cotton canvas and the garment wash have a direct consequence on customization: cotton is the substrate of choice for printing, and indeed the spec declares the model 'ideal for printing' with a front screen-print area up to 10×6 cm, wide and flat. The unstructured front also accepts embroidery up to 12×6 cm and DTF transfer well. It's one of the few baseball models where front screen printing is provided in large format.

It's the right choice for those seeking a snapback with a natural, lived-in aesthetic, in cotton fiber, with a strong vocation for front printing. It isn't the right product for those seeking a technical material or a water-repellent treatment: its value is the soft hand of washed cotton canvas and the large front print area.

01
Screen printing· Eccellente
88%
It's this model's technique of choice: the unstructured cotton canvas front is declared ideal for printing, with a front area up to 10×6 cm, wide and flat. Cotton absorbs water-based or plastisol inks well with a crisp result and full colors. Also on the sides up to 6×5 cm. Recommended for graphics from 1 to several colors.
Max area 10x6Max colors 6
02
Embroidery· Eccellente
82%
Cotton canvas accepts embroidery very well: the spec indicates a front area up to 12×6 cm, with a recommended start 2 cm from the bill. Areas also on sides up to 10×6 cm and back 8×3.5 cm. The unstructured front is less rigid than a buckram front: for very structured 3D puff logos a structured model is preferable, but for classic flat embroidery the result is excellent.

03
DTF — Direct to Film· Eccellente
82%
Read the technical analysis
DTF transfer applies very well on the unstructured front up to 10×6 cm and on the sides up to 6×4 cm, with a dedicated cap press. Unlimited colors, no minimum quantity. Excellent on cotton canvas for multicolor logos and detailed photographic graphics, an alternative to screen printing for small runs.
Max area 10x6
04
Patch — Woven / PVC / Faux leather· Eccellente
80%
Read the technical analysis
The canvas front is an excellent base for patches: woven, embroidered, leather or rubberized, they apply by heat sealing or stitching. The lived-in look of washed canvas particularly enhances fabric or leather patches with a vintage aesthetic. Also suited to the sides.
05
Sublimation· Non compatibile
0%
Read the technical analysis
Sublimation requires polyester fibers to bond the dyes; organic and recycled cotton canvas is not sublimatable and the colors would not fix. For unlimited-color graphics on this model use DTF transfer or screen printing, both excellent on cotton.
06
DTG — Direct to Garment· Non compatibile
0%
Read the technical analysis
DTG direct printing gives the best result on cotton fabrics like this canvas, but the cap's three-dimensional shape and the presence of the snapback closure prevent flat loading on the platen of DTG printers. For unlimited-color digital printing on this model use DTF transfer with a dedicated cap press, equally excellent on cotton.
