The compact recycled Merino wool fabric supports front embroidery up to 12×4.5 cm without significant distortion, provided a water-soluble stabiliser is used under the fabric to prevent the yarn from loosening during processing. Sides embroiderable up to 6×5 cm on both sides. Back up to 12×4.5 cm. The reduced fabric thickness requires fine-gauge needles (75/11) and moderate stitch density to preserve the knit's elastic properties. Not compatible with 3D puff embroidery — the fine fabric cannot hold the additional padding.
Woven or eco-leather patches applicable via perimeter stitching on the front or sides. Heat-sealing is not recommended on wool fabric — prefer stitching only. Recommended size: max 5 cm per side to avoid excessive stiffness on the beanie.
It is the natural choice for athletes, outdoor brands and those after a technical beanie with a quality material. It is not the right product for those wanting a voluminous cuffed beanie or a thick winter cap: the Baru is designed to be light, snug and discreet — to be worn on its own in the mid-seasons or as a base layer in intense winter activities.
