GOTS verifies that the fibre is organic and that the entire production chain — from spinning to dyeing to sewing — meets precise chemical, environmental and social criteria: no harmful substances, no child labour, controlled wastewater treatment. It does not measure the product's CO₂ impact, but it covers everything else. Every certified facility is audited annually by an accredited independent body. The certificate for this product can be verified on the public GOTS database.
