Regent Fit
- OEKO-TEX
- Vegan
Fitted cut and curved sleeves: the T-shirt that gives a creator's line a shop-floor silhouette. Lightweight 150 g/m² cotton, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified for harmful substances. Screen printing and heat transfer across the palette; on flecked mixed-fibre colours direct-to-garment printing falls short. Seven heathered colours out of fourteen and an unbranded neck, for a festival too. For the whole family there are the Regent Fit Women and the Regent Fit Kids.
We analyze it like an editorial team would. We don't sell it.

A T-shirt sold under your own name has a hidden problem: someone else's label at the neck. The Regent Fit does not have one. SOL'S sews in only the size, with no brand, leaving the neck free for the label of whoever sells it. It is the fitted version of the Regent, with cut-and-sewn sides, slightly curved sleeves and a light 150 g/m² knit of semi-combed cotton, meaning some of its short fibres are combed out. Of its fourteen colours, seven are , with that heathered look reminiscent of washed . It is a customisable fitted T-shirt, certified, meaning tested for harmful substances, and PETA-Approved Vegan.

The melange colours are more than a shade: six are a blend of 60% cotton and 40% polyester, and Grey melange has 15% viscose, a fibre made from wood cellulose. SOL'S lists , digital printing, heat transfer, vinyl and ; we recommend screen printing and heat transfer across the whole palette, and direct-to-garment printing only on the pure cotton colours. Embroidery, on the other hand, we advise against: below 170 g/m² the fabric gives way under the stitches and puckers around the logo. Here, print is the way to go.
Printing techniques.
A verdict for each one.
What to expect on this specific product, technique by technique.
Screen printing is our first choice for a collection: it works on both the pure cotton colours and the polyester-blend melanges, whose yarn mixes fibres of different colours. On the latter, a suitable ink and a lower temperature are needed, because polyester can release dye into the print. SOL'S lists it, with a white base on dark colours, a layer of white printed first so the colours on top stay bright.
Offered by the manufacturer, which warns that on light fabrics the marked area stiffens. That happens here, so a transfer works better on a chest logo than on a full-back graphic. It has one advantage on the melanges, the flecked colours made from fibres of several shades: the result does not change between cotton and blend.
It works where the T-shirt is the product: a creator's first collection, a festival's official line. It is not the right choice for dressing everyone, because the fitted cut leaves out anyone after a relaxed fit: that calls for the classic Regent. Anyone wanting a more substantial garment, with the same unbranded neck, will find the Imperial Fit at 190 g/m². Before ordering: flag the polyester-blend melange colours to the printer, who will choose inks and temperatures.

A creator launching a line wants only their own name at the neck, and here there is room for it. The fitted cut and the melanges, with their multicoloured mix of fibres, make a garment with a shop look; for female followers there is the women's version.

Declared certifications.
And what they guarantee.
We list only third-party certifications declared by the manufacturer: some concern the environment, others the safety of substances or working conditions.
Certifies that every component of the finished product — fabric, stitching, buttons, labels, prints — has been tested against a list of over 1,000 harmful substances. Guarantees that what you wear contains nothing chemically dangerous to health. It says nothing about how the product was manufactured, by whom, or with what environmental impact: other certifications exist for those verifications. It is the world's most widely used and rigorous chemical safety standard for finished textile products.
