The Carter is the SOL'S full-zip hooded sweatshirt: 280 g/m² brushed with a 100% cotton outer surface, set-in sleeves, double-layer hood with tone-on-tone drawstring and hidden zip with metal zipper pull. The construction is cut-and-sewn (not tubular), with 1x1 rib cuffs and hem. The standard blend is 80% cotton / 20% , but the Anthracite has 40% recycled polyester — a factor to consider for printing. Note: the PDF declares the recycled polyester as ' certified', but the official SOL'S site clarifies that the icon used identifies recycled content not eligible for GRS certification (content below 50%). Verify with SOL'S before communicating GRS to clients.

The 280g brushed weight supports direct embroidery well. Ideal for corporate logos and text. Avoid areas larger than 8x8 cm. Use backing stabiliser. The hidden zip does not interfere with chest embroidery placement.
100% cotton outer surface on all colours: excellent screen printing results. White underbase required on Black, Anthracite melange, Royal Blue and Navy Blue. Caution on Anthracite melange (40% internal polyester): curing temperature must be calibrated to prevent dye migration on the cotton surface. Verify with your printer. Max area approx. 30x35 cm.
