Pegaso Premium
- OEKO-TEX
The uniform polo shirt for frequent washing: Roly states it can be washed at 60 °C and is treated against bobbling. 60% cotton, 40% polyester honeycomb, tested for harmful substances (OEKO-TEX); mid to heavy: 190 g/m², white 220. Embroidery on the chest is its technique; for prints, heat transfer and screen printing in solid colours work best. For front of house, reception desks and shops: 14 colours, three buttons, optional chest pocket, a women's twin. From S to 5XL, plus children's sizes from 3 to 12 years in 7 colours.

We analyze it like an editorial team would. We don't sell it.

Anyone choosing a uniform soon discovers that the problem is not the first day but the thirtieth wash. The Pegaso Premium is a customisable polo shirt built around exactly this: Roly states that it can be washed at 60 °C and that the fabric is treated against bobbling. The first of these claims appears on only four models in the brand's catalogue.

The fabric is a piqué, the honeycomb knit typical of polo shirts, in a cotton and polyester blend. That raised texture supports well, which remains the natural route for a logo on the chest or the sleeve. Prints are possible, with one caveat: on small details the texture of the fabric reduces sharpness, so lettering and logos in solid colours work better. Worth knowing before ordering: the white polo is thicker than the coloured ones.
Printing techniques.
A verdict for each one.
What to expect on this specific product, technique by technique.
Roly allows embroidery on the chest, sleeves, front and back. For polo shirts we recommend at least 170-180 g/m² for standard embroidery: this one has 190, and 220 in white, so a logo on the left chest is well within its range. 3D embroidery, the raised kind, needs at least 220-240 g/m²: here it is only an option on white and only for a small symbol, such as an initial. For a uniform washed at 60 °C, ask for polyester thread, which withstands hot washes.
Roly lists it up to 8 colours. Because it is printed separately and then heat-applied, the logo can be prepared once and the polo shirts branded as new staff arrive. As with any heat application on a uniform, durability at 60 °C needs to be confirmed by the printer.

It is a work polo for customer-facing roles: waiting staff, receptionists, shop assistants, car dealership staff. The matching women's version and the children's sizes make it possible to dress mixed groups without changing model. It is not, however, the garment for anyone who wants direct-to-garment printing, which Roly does not offer on this fabric, nor for anyone who wants 100% cotton against the skin: in that case, also from Roly, there is the Star, a pure cotton piqué at 200 g/m², a mid-weight fabric for a polo.

This is the setting it was built for. A stated 60 °C wash, anti-bobbling treatment, sizes up to 5XL and a matching women's version: these are the four things anyone managing office or shop uniforms checks first.
Food stains come out with hot washes, and this polo is stated to take them. Chest embroidery with the venue's name is the most common customisation; the optional pocket comes in handy for anyone taking orders.
At a trade fair stand a polo looks smarter than a T-shirt, and chest embroidery reads well up close. The 14 colours cover the most common corporate colours, from navy blue to bottle green.

Declared certifications.
And what they guarantee.
We list only third-party certifications declared by the manufacturer: some concern the environment, others the safety of substances or working conditions.
Certifies that every component of the finished product — fabric, stitching, buttons, labels, prints — has been tested against a list of over 1,000 harmful substances. Guarantees that what you wear contains nothing chemically dangerous to health. It says nothing about how the product was manufactured, by whom, or with what environmental impact: other certifications exist for those verifications. It is the world's most widely used and rigorous chemical safety standard for finished textile products.
