Cotton jersey, the smooth knit of T-shirts, medium weight (165 g/m²) and tested for harmful substances (OEKO-TEX). Screen printing and direct-to-garment printing are its techniques; on dark colours both need an extra step. With 32 colours it matches the shade of a school, an association or a company event. For a women's cut, Roly pairs it with a women's model, the Capri.

Thirty-two colours and two size ranges, adult and kids: the Dogo Premium is the customisable T-shirt Roly offers for the most common requests. It is made of cotton jersey, the smooth, slightly stretchy knit of everyday T-shirts, at 165 g/m²: a medium weight. It has side seams, meaning the body is two pieces sewn together rather than a single tube. The crew neck is ribbed, a knit with stretchy vertical lines that opens up and springs back, and it has four layers. The fabric carries the certification, which covers testing the product for harmful substances.

For printing it is a garment without surprises. On every colour Roly specifies up to 6 colours, heat transfer, direct-to-garment printing and . 100% cotton is the fibre direct-to-garment printing needs. Grey contains 15% viscose, a fibre made from wood pulp on which colours can come out less full: there a test print is needed. On embroidery our advice differs from Roly's: we advise against it, because below 170 g/m² the knit cannot carry the weight of the stitches. Even a small logo on the chest leaves puckers around the design, and washing makes them more visible.

What to expect on this specific product, technique by technique.
Up to 6 colours on every position, sleeves included: this is Roly's figure, the same for all 32 colours. On the front the area reaches 32x42 cm in size M and 35 cm wide from size L. Anyone also ordering kids' sizes should plan a second size of the artwork: in size 3/4 the front space is 20x29 cm. On dark colours the print starts with a white base, a layer of white under the colours so they stay bright: an extra step to allow for. It pays off most when there are many pieces and the same design for all of them.
Roly specifies direct-to-garment printing on the front, back and chest, with the same area as screen printing; not on the sleeves. It is the technique for reproducing a photograph or a many-coloured design even on a single T-shirt, and it needs exactly this 100% cotton. The exception is Heather Grey, which contains 15% viscose, a fibre made from wood pulp: there the colours may come out less full, and it is worth asking for a test print. On dark colours the print shop first applies a pretreatment, a liquid that helps the ink bond to the fabric.

It is at home wherever different people need to wear the same garment: a school, an association, a family celebration, the staff of an event. It is not the right choice for sport, because cotton holds sweat, nor for anyone who wants to sell a T-shirt made of heavy fabric: the Roly range has heavier models, such as Braco and Stafford. There is also no women's cut: the women's model Roly pairs with it is the Capri, 100% cotton at 170 g/m². Roly does not state which of the 32 colours exist in kids' sizes, so check this before choosing the colour.

This is the setting where kids' sizes make the difference: from 3/4 to 11/12 for the youngest, from S upwards for teenagers and teachers, in the same model. School trips, plays, end-of-year parties, sports days. Before choosing the class colour, check that it also exists in kids' sizes: Roly does not specify it.
Local tourist boards, parish youth clubs, scout groups, neighbourhood committees: organisations with adults and children where reorders come in small batches. The same model covers everyone, and solid-colour heat transfer lets you prepare the logos once and apply them when needed.
A convention with teams split by colour is the textbook case: 32 shades to choose from, screen printing on the front and back, sizes for every build. If a family day is planned, the kids' sizes make it possible to dress employees' children too.
