When T-shirts are needed to dress an entire trade fair, three things matter: the right colour, a size for everyone and fast printing. The Atomic 150 is built around them. It is Roly's customisable T-shirt in 150 g/m² cotton jersey, lightweight, with a body knitted as a single tube with no side seams, and a double ribbed crew neck, a stretchy ridged knit that gives and springs back. Eleven solid colours and sizes from XS to 5XL cover almost any group.

For printers, the fibre is what counts. Roly lists it as suited to in up to 6 colours, heat transfer, direct-to-garment printing and . We recommend screen printing for large runs and direct-to-garment printing for small batches with many colours. Embroidery, on the other hand, we advise against: below 170 g/m² the jersey cannot carry the weight of the stitches and puckers around the logo. Grey, with 15% viscose, a fibre made from wood cellulose, needs a test before the full run: in direct-to-garment printing its colours can come out less full.

This is its home technique: 100% cotton, a smooth surface and up to 6 colours stated by Roly on the front, back, chest and sleeves. Roly lists every colour except white as a dark background: on those the graphic needs a white underbase, meaning an extra pass. It pays off on large runs, the use the model is made for.
Roly allows the full-colour transfer in every position, sleeves included. It is the simplest route for a few pieces or for graphics with gradients and photographs, on any colour of the T-shirt. The graphic remains a film on top of the fabric: on a large, solid design you can feel it more than a screen print.

It makes sense when the T-shirt is a tool rather than a gift: a trade-fair stand, volunteers for a day, the staff of a summer festival. It is not the right choice for a garment meant to last, such as a uniform or a T-shirt sold to your fans: Roly itself warns that the quality and colours of this model do not follow the brand's standards. For that there is the Braco, the same cotton but combed, with the short fibres removed, at 180 g/m² and with children's sizes. Before ordering: 4XL and 5XL come in only 6 of the 11 colours.
